Kir Bulychev is the creator of popular works in the fantasy genre. Today, admirers of the venerable man of letters do not cease to be amazed at his perspicacity. Bulychev’s books are striking in their breadth of vision and foresight.

Childhood and youth
Kir Bulychev is a made-up writer pseudonym. Real name – Igor Vsevolodovich Mozheiko. The future writer was born on October 18, 1934 in the city of Moscow. The boy’s dad – Vsevolod Nikolaevich Mozheyko – comes from a noble family, left his home in his youth and began to live independently.

Maria Mikhailovna Bulycheva – the mother of the author – an employee of the pencil factory. She was brought up in the family of an officer and before the events of 1917 she studied at the Smolny Institute of noble maidens. After the coup, she filed documents with the Institute of Motor Vehicles.
